Health and Safety
J S Wright is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment. We strive to not only meet but exceed the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, associated legislation and relevant industry standards. Our Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the business is managed and resourced adequately to minimise the risks of injury and ill health to our employees.
Environment
J S Wright always seeks to minimise the impact of its operations on the environment. We continue to seek the practical means of characterising, quantifying and monitoring our performance in areas that include emissions to air, discharges to water and the disposal of solid and other wastes; the use of land, water, fuels, energy and other natural resources; and discharges of thermal energy, noise, odour, dust, vibration and visual impacts. We also strive to ensure that we comply with all legal and other regulatory requirements and codes of practice, as well as obtain all relevant consents, permits and authorisations from local authorities and other environmental regulators.
