Stadia Three is the first residential element of Wimbledon Grounds, a new multi-million-pound development of 632 homes, anchored by a state-of-the-art football stadium for AFC Wimbledon, on Plough Lane in Wimbledon.

J S Wright was responsible for installing, testing and commissioning the mechanical engineering infrastructure systems for the seven-storey brick building and fitting out the mechanical services for 413 apartments.

Mechanical Installations – Shell and Core

  • Natural gas supply to basement energy centre
  • LPHW communal heating system incorporating combined heat and power (CHP), four condensing boilers and distribution pipework
  • Cold water plantrooms incorporating storage tanks and booster sets
  • Mechanical ventilation systems for all plantrooms
  • Above ground drainage and rainwater harvesting systems
  • Wet and dry risers
  • Building management system

Mechanical Installations – Apartments

  • LPHW distribution to each of the apartments via heat interface units for domestic hot water and radiator heating

  • Mechanical ventilation incorporating extract (MEV) and heat recovery (MVHR) systems

  • Sanitaryware installation

  • Residential sprinkler systems

  • HDPE above ground drainage installation
