J S Wright has promoted two highly experienced members of staff to directors.

Matthew Coy and David Cook have taken on the positions of Contracts Director and Design & Estimating Director.With 47 years of industry experience between them, they are the latest examples of J S Wright’s investment in staff progression and development as the company moves forward as an employee ownership trust (EOT).Matthew, who joined J S Wright in 2014 as contracts manager before rising to associate contracts director, has worked in building services for 24 years. He has delivered projects valued at up to £26 million across the commercial fit out, industrial, hospitality, hotels and high-end residential sectors.

Based at head office, he now oversees all operational aspects of the company’s M&E contracts carried out from its Birmingham and London offices.David Cook joined J S Wright in 1999 as a technical apprentice before rising to design engineer, commercial design manager and then associate design director.

Also head office based, he is now responsible for all pre-construction work while also working closely with Matthew on all projects. He leads a 30-strong team of design, estimating, CAD and document control staff.

Matthew and David are both fully qualified heat network consultants.
