J S Wright has boosted its project management team after appointing Matthew Brough as a Mechanical Project Manager.

Based at the company’s Birmingham headquarters, the former apprentice who lives in Stoke-on-Trent has almost 25 years of experience in building services engineering, having previously been a senior project manager and engineer for another Midlands based M&E contractor.

Prior to that, Matthew was a senior mechanical engineer and natural gas manager for an engineering services company, where he helped deliver contracts for the Shetland Gas Plant and the Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre near Loughborough.

Matthew is currently working on a £17million contract to provide the mechanical and electrical services to the first phase of The Silk District residential project at Whitechapel in east London.

Managing Director Phil Leech said: “Matthew’s extensive skills and vast experience will help us continue to meet an ever-increasing demand for our mechanical and electrical services from leading UK developers.”
